Counselor III (LCDC III/LSW/LPC) Requirements:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in human service, social work or behavioral science with proven experience in the field of chemical dependence or mental health treatment required.
  • LCDC III, LPC (preferred), LSW (preferred) or comparable license or certification with two (2) year of paid full time experience in the field of chemical dependency or mental health treatment or equivalent required.

  • Salary range for LISW/LPCC = $62,000-$70,000/year

We are looking for skilled, talented, and compassionate people to join our team! Under the direction of the Clinical Manager and/or VP of Alum Creek, the Counselor is responsible for substance use and mental health counseling, case management and treatment planning for clients who have been referred to Maryhaven’s Adult Outpatient Program (ADOP) for treatment. Maintain a caseload of clients receiving AOD and mental health treatment while providing individual and group counseling services. Complete assessments, urinalysis screenings, and documentation in a timely manner while making referrals for assessed needs and appropriate level of care. Work with other clinicians and medical staff on the team to address client needs and promote treatment goals.


Compensation details: 52000-70000 Yearly Salary
